The Quantum Computing and Devices (QCD) group was formed in October 2007 in the Academy of Finland Center of Excellence in Computational Nanoscience (COMP). Since 2012, the premises of our research group has been referred to as QCD Labs. We keep an open mind and explore the most interesting and promising pathways to reach maximal quality and productivity in our research. Our research themes vary from experimental physics to the fundamental theory of quantum mechanics. Currently, we focus on superconducting and silicon nanoelectronis as well as monopoles in Bose-Einstein condensates.
