About this event

The meeting for WG4 of the Nanoscale Quantum Optics COST Action will be held at Aalto University Design Factory in Espoo, Finland on 26 and 27 September 2017. The WG4 of the COST Action aims to investigate cooperative effects, correlations, and many-body physics tailored by strongly confined fields in nanoscale optical systems. The topics addressed by the WG4 and at this meeting include:

  • Numerical methods for (open) many-body systems
  • Atom-light interactions in 1D waveguides
  • Quantum Plasmonics
  • Collective effects and phase transitions in cavity QED
  • Optomechanical effects at the nanoscale

The meeting will provide an opportunity for participants to discuss their current and future work with others in the community and to plan for future collaborations, coordination, and events within the COST network.
