Pasi Häkkinen, M.Sc. (Tech.) will defend the dissertation Carbon nanotubes and graphene as nanomechanical and superconducting sensors" on 31 March 2017 at 12 noon in Aalto University School of Science, lecture hall T2, Konemiehentie 2, Espoo. This thesis mainly concerns charge detection with carbon nanotube devices. In the thesis it is studied how superconductivity and mechanical oscillation can be used for improving existing charge sensing technologies.
