Celebrate the Best Physics Doctoral Dissertation and Teaching Awards on 20 December
PHYS group leaders nominated the best candidates for the dissertation award (all PhDs defended by 31.12.2017) and selected the best teacher.
Pre-examiner and referee reports for these nominees were given to Prof. Robin Ras (newest tenured professor in PHYS), who selected the best three. In addition, PHYS group leaders and professors selected the best teacher in the department.
Each winner will receive €3 000 (four awards total). This is the fourth year the department is presenting the doctoral dissertation awards. This is the third year PHYS is awarding a best teaching prize.
